Heads up—some important enhancements are coming to the MO Deferred Comp Plan this September. Starting September 26, the plan will transition its account recordkeeping provider from MissionSquare Retirement to Voya Financial. The transition is expected to be complete by September 29. During this time—also called the blackout period—you won’t be able to access or make changes to your account. You are not required to take any action prior to the transition, but we do recommend you log in to your account and verify that your mobile number, email, mailing address, and beneficiaries are up to date. If you’d like to keep any past statements or documents, be sure to print or download and save them before the blackout period begins. Once the transition is complete, you’ll need to create a new user ID and password to access your account. We’ll send those detailed instructions shortly after the transition. So, what’s changing? Mostly behind-the-scenes stuff, but you will notice a refreshed secure online account, a new mobile app, updated tools, and redesigned statements. Otherwise, your experience and interaction with the plan should feel very familiar.
