Over 37 Years of Dedication: Wishing Don Wilson a Happy Retirement
After an incredible 37+ year career with MO Deferred Comp, we’re celebrating the retirement of one of the most respected and recognizable figures in our plan, Don Wilson – Senior Financial Education Professional.
Don began his career with deferred comp in 1989, and for nearly four decades he has been a steady presence and someone state employees and his coworkers have trusted and relied on time and time again.
He is known across the state not just for his extensive knowledge and expertise, but for the calm, steady way he’s always shown up for people. If you had a question, making an account change, or just wanted to make sure you were on the right track, chances are Don was the person you turned to. His straight-shooting style, crooked grin, and great chuckle always made people feel at ease.
Don’s presence will be missed more than words can say—but his impact on the plan and the people he has helped over the years will resonate for many years to come.
As he heads into retirement, we’re wishing him nothing but the best. Hopefully, that means plenty of time playing hockey with his grandsons, enjoying some boat racing, and finally getting some well-deserved rest and relaxation.
