Fees
There is a plan administration fee charged to each participants account. Currently, that fee is a “flat fee” of $52 per participant per year. The fee will be offset each year by reimbursements received from the investment options offered in the Plan. This year, each participant will be charged $36, or $9 per quarter. This amount will be reported as a transaction or charge on your Quarterly Participant Statement. The fee covers the cost of the local customer service office, mailings, booklets, recordkeeping, and the general administration of your Plan.
In addition, each investment option charges an investment management fee for the operation of the fund that is included in the expense ratio along with applicable 12b-1 and other miscellaneous fees. The annualized investment management fees are deducted daily from the funds.
Fee Calculation Example
An account with a balance of $20,000 that is invested in a fund with an expense ratio of 0.26% would incur fees totalling approximately $52 on an annual basis in addition to the plan administration fee of $36. If the same account were invested in a fund with an expense ratio of 0.90%, annual fees would total approximately $180 plus the $36 plan adminstration fee.
